Introductions.

Beginnings are not my strongest point. Neither are endings, but I'm rather good at the middle parts when I really try. Even though I'm an English major (and therefore sick of writing articulate, fancy-pants, full paragraphs...agonizing over every comma and semi-colon (and misused ellipses, oops!) in my senior thesis), I enjoy list making. So here is a list, in no particular order, of things I enjoy. I aim to make this a picture blog, with various musings when I feel inclined. This is mostly to give me something interesting to do when my brains are too mushy for anything other than television and things that catch my attention. This is a rather new computer, so I don't have too many pictures at hand (not looking to dig out my external right now), but here are a few things that made it onto my hard drive that generally sum me up, at least well enough for initial introductions. We don't want to get too cozy too soon. (Brevity is not my strength, either). I wanted the pictures of me to be last, and have the pictures start at Santa Fe, but I can't rearrange the pictures....and error screen keeps popping up.

Katie Jane Garside, of Queen Adreena

And indeed there will be time
For the yellow smoke that slides along the street,
Rubbing its back upon the window-panes;
There will be time, there will be time
To prepare a face to meet the faces that you meet;
There will be time to murder and create,
And time for all the works and days of hands
That lift and drop a question on your plate;
Time for you and time for me,
And time yet for a hundred indecisions,
And for a hundred visions and revisions,
Before the taking of a toast and tea.
